THE PANDORA CASE

Between 1994 and 2003, five women were killed and/or committed suicide under unexplained circumstances across Illinois and neighboring states.

Rumors surrounding the unidentified suspect known only as “Pandora” spread rapidly online following the release of leaked police documents and witness testimonies describing strange symbols, ritualistic markings, and impossible crime scenes.

Authorities never confirmed occult involvement publicly. The suspect was never identified, arrested, or located.

The following posts were archived from public internet discussion boards recovered in late 2003.

I swear one of the images had symbols burned directly into the walls. Not painted. Burned.

My cousin works EMS in Chicago and said the detectives stopped letting paramedics inside the scenes after the third victim.

The leaked files vanished almost immediately after being uploaded.

I downloaded two before the archive disappeared. One image showed a circle of candles around a hallway mirror.

Five women died.

Whatever Pandora was doing, it wasn't normal homicide.

The police never released fingerprints, DNA, or eyewitness sketches.

How do we even know “Pandora” wasn't multiple people using the same name?

One witness supposedly described hearing chanting coming from inside an abandoned apartment before officers arrived.

By the time police entered, the place was empty except for wax and ash.

My older brother worked near one of the disappearance sites in 1998.

He said people avoided entire sections of downtown after dark because of rumors about symbols appearing on alley walls overnight.

Someone mailed me an unlabeled VHS after I posted about the case online.

The footage was mostly static but every few minutes symbols flashed on screen for a single frame.

You're not the only one.

There were rumors on older forums that Pandora recorded parts of the rituals on tape.

PEOPLE WHO HAVE LOOKED INTO PANDORA TOO LONG HAVE STARTED DISAPPEARING TOO.
